Meghna Cave Temple

Meghna Cave Temple, a must-see tourist attraction in Arunachal Pradesh, is 5000 years old and is located at a height of 300 feet above sea level in Daporjio, within the beautiful ziro valley. It is called after Lord Lakulisha, Lord Shiva’s 28th appearance. Several beautifully carved Sanskrit scriptures with excellent and magnificent architecture can be found here.

 It’s a rock-cut cave temple with two tunnels, one of which can only be entered by one person and appears to be a cave extension, and the other of which can only be entered by one person. The tunnel’s interior becomes darker and narrower as it progresses. The surrounding mountains, rich evergreen woods, and fast-flowing rivers are all visible from this famous tourist location. A grand festival is organized on Maha Shivratri.
