Mandu which is also known as Mandavgad is an ancient destroyed city located in Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh state. 

It is planned like a bardari with three arched openings on each side.The dome has a high octagonal base divided into bands of masonry moulding which have imparted an unusual height to the dome.

The Bagh Caves are a collection of nine rock-cut monuments located on the southern slopes of the Vindhyas.These are known for mural paintings by ancient Indian master artists.

Jama Masjid is one of the famous historic mosque constructed in Mandu, Madhya Pradesh. This famous masjid was built according to the Mughal style of architecture.
