Furthermore, Lord Shiva had snakes in his hair, giving him a frightening and terrifying appearance. Maa Parvati’s relatives were shocked to see such a terrifying form of Lord Shiva, and nearly everyone fainted from sheer terror. Maa Parvati became concerned, fearing that her family and Lord Shiva would be humiliated as a result of the situation.

As a result, she transformed herself into a terrifying avatar – Chandraghanta. This was a terrifying sight, and she resembled Lord Shiva. Maa Chandraghanta’s skin turned golden, and she gained ten arms. Her tenth arm was used to bless her devotees, while the other nine arms each carried a different object or weapon.
