The most breathtaking waterfall in India without any doubt is the Dudhsagar Falls. Dudhsagar which means ‘ Sea of Milk ‘, is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River in the state of Goa. Precisely, the falls are located among the Western Ghats in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park. Having a height of 310 meters, the Dudhsagar Falls is among the tallest waterfalls in India.

How to get here:
Getting to the Dudhsagar Falls is a rather time-consuming and very difficult task. You cannot reach the waterfall directly. Firstly, you have to reach Londa Junction by train, then you have to hire a taxi or take a bus or local train to Kulem.
Now, after reaching Kulem, you have one task in hand, which is trekking. You have to trek about 12 kilometers to reach the waterfall. Barely visible from afar owing to its dense vegetation, you would be able to see the waterfall when about 1 kilometer away from it.
There is also another way of reaching this place from Goa for people who don’t like trekking. So, you have to reach Mollem village by hiring a car or getting a train or luxury bus from Madgaon. From Mollem, you have to get into a jeep and get yourselves life jackets and from there the jeep will take you to Dudhsagar Falls.

One of the striking features of trekking here is that the trails are in a horseshoe structure.
Jungle Safari is one of the main tourist attractions at the Bhagwan Mahavir National Park. It is a wildlife-rich sanctuary located and surrounded by the Western Ghats. Jungle Safaris are a convenient way of getting to see the different species of animals like tigers, Elephants, Hump-Nosed pit vipers, and many more.
